This Privacy Policy describes how Simon FM ("the Bot") collects, uses, and protects information when you use it in your Discord server.

2. Data We Collect

The Bot collects minimal data required to function:

• Server IDs: To store per-server settings like volume and prefixes.
• Queue Data: Temporarily stored to manage the music queue. Cleared when the queue ends or the Bot disconnects.
• Voice Channel IDs: Used solely to connect and play music in the correct channel.

We do not collect or store:

• Direct message content
• Personal information (name, email, IP address)
• Audio recordings or voice data
• Browsing history or tracking data

3. How We Use Data

Data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Bot's music functionality. We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties.

4. Data Retention

Server settings persist as long as the Bot is in your server. Queue and playback data are temporary and automatically deleted when the session ends. You can request data deletion by removing the Bot from your server or contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

The Bot interacts with third-party platforms to fetch music:

• YouTube / Spotify / SoundCloud — Used for audio sourcing. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
• Discord — The Bot operates within Discord's API. See Discord's Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for data collected by these third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

The Bot is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us for deletion.

7. Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of data related to your server.
• Deletion: Remove the Bot from your server to delete all associated data, or contact us.
• Opt-out: Simply stop using the Bot or remove it from your server.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data. However, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
